Designed by the award-winning illustrator Daniel Mackie, the DM collection is a beautiful array of cards which depict animals with their natural habitat contained within them. Decorative, stylized, soft and textural, these images really are sublime and deeply impressive.
Inspired by a wide range of different influences such as Art Deco, Egyptian tomb paintings, Impressionism and Japanese prints, Daniel Mackie went on quite the journey of exploration to produce the paintings by hand which would become the designs for these animal themed cards.
Bursting with colour and character, rich in layered patterns and boasting a high level of intricacy and precision which is a testament to Mackie’s skill as an artist and an illustrator, these cards are more than a little bit special.
